This week in Dexter Class

This week, we are looking forward to learning about Kandinsky, who is our artist of interest this year. We shall be taking part in lots of different activities based on his work, as well as learning a bit about the man himself and the music that inspired him.

In our phonics work, we will be looking at the tricky words have, like, it's, was and you and will be continuing to apply our phonic knowledge in a range of writing, including writing part of the story of Farmer Duck.

In maths, we are continuing to look at number recognition, ordering and counting on and back and will also take part in some problem solving activities.

We will be welly walking on Wednesday afternoon (fingers crossed that we miss the showers that are predicted!) There are so many changes in the guardianship at the moment- the children have thoroughly enjoyed pointing them out and naming new plants and flowers.
