This week in Belted Galloway Class

Welcome back to what should be a very industrious term. We welcome Mrs Harbord, who will be working with us for three mornings and one afternoon a week to help boost our year 6s and further support out year 5 children. Mrs Cale will be working with most of year 5 for three mornings a week, where she will be delivering maths lessons and working on a reading / drama / art project centred around 'The Highway Man' poem. Year 6 children will be deepening their understanding of the key maths and English skills in order to give them the best chance to meet their potential in the up-coming SATs tests, as well as in the transition to secondary school.

In addition to this, we look forward to restarting outdoor learning on Fridays, and PE on Wednesdays and Fridays, as well as Spanish with Mrs Alyson Smith on Wednesday afternoons.
