This week in Dexter Class
What a chilly start to the week- though we have enjoyed making snow cupcakes and weighing the snow in the balancing scales! We are hoping that the plants we planted last week will survive the cold!
This week we will be looking again at the trigraph ure and will also be revisiting the digraphs and trigraphs that we have found tricky. We will also look at spelling patterns for when words end in c/k/ck and review the high frequency and tricky words that we have learned.
In maths, we are continuing our work on shape and will be using mathematical language to describe 2d and 3d shapes. We will also take part in the club maths challenge.
We hope to welly walk on Wednesday afternoon this week, so please make sure that all outdoor weather gear is in school as soon as possible.
If you have any herbs that you do not need, and would like to donate, we are hoping to add to our herb garden, which currently contains mint, lavender and rosemary, so they will be gratefully received!
