This Week in Hereford Class

Welcome back after an additional 2 days off! We hope you had lots of fun in the snow! This week we are finishing our story of 'Tuesday' after making edits to include pigs instead of frogs, and altering the places that they visit. Then we will create our own version, following the teaching and spend a few days writing a whole story, where we get to show off all that we've learned. In Maths, we are finishing our unit on fractions of amounts, which the children love (they groan when it is the end of the every lesson!). Miss Parsons introduced our new computing topic of 'We are photographers'. The class talked about what makes a good photo and will soon go on to taking photos, selecting the best and editing them. In RE we have talked about what Christians believe God is like and this has linked very well with our Christian value of forgiveness. We are looking forward to Prayer Station Day where we will explore this value even further. Keep a look out on our blog to see some of the activities we complete...
