This Week in Dexter Class

Welcome back after our unexpected break! I hope you all had fun in the snow and managed to stay warm!

This week is a busy one! We will be introducing the sound er and looking back at ai, ee, oa, ow and oi, and looking words which use these sounds and end in l.

In Maths, we are continuing with addition and subtraction and will be challenging ourselves with Club Maths as well as looking at problem solving techniques.

The classroom has been a hive of activity again today, with the set up of an animal rescue centre, a police station and a theatre. We have watched a show, performed by some of the children, depicting the story of Palm Sunday.

We intend to welly walk on Tuesday afternoon, so please ensure that all children have their waterproofs and wellies back in school.

On Wednesday we are holding a school prayer day and you are welcome to join us after school to visit the stations that the children will have been to during the day. There will not be a whole school worship in church this week.
